01 / The opportunity
The product was working. The public experience was not showing its ambition.
SALYX already connected UK salons with hairstylists looking for rental, commission and salaried opportunities. Its public site needed to make both sides of the marketplace feel understood, make the next version tangible and turn interest into a clear action.
02 / The direction
Make the future product visible before asking people to join it.
LOX Digital created a new waitlist experience around distinct salon-owner and hairstylist journeys. Product previews show how listings, matches and portfolios will work, while the interface leads each audience into a short, direct signup.
03 / Before and after
Same business. A stronger first impression.
The new direction moves from a functional marketplace homepage to a more focused launch experience with its own memorable entrance.
04 / What LOX delivered
Audience-specific journeys for salon owners and hairstylists
A responsive visual system rooted in the SALYX brand
Waitlist capture with clear category and email flows
Product previews for listings, matches and portfolios
A roadmap into a separately built custom marketplace
05 / The result
A stronger public face for the next version of SALYX.
The new waitlist experience is live. The founder reported renewed momentum and positive early-adopter feedback. SALYX has since commissioned LOX Digital to design and build the wider custom marketplace with improved user flows, greater administrative control, custom integrations and useful AI capabilities.
